As the year draws to a close, I can’t help but reflect on how far I’ve come, not just in the goals I’ve achieved, but in the lessons I’ve learned along the way. If there’s one thing this year has taught me, it’s the power of starting—even when things aren’t perfect.
When I posted my first vlog at the beginning of the year, I wasn’t sure what to expect. My filmmaking skills were far from polished, and the idea of putting myself out there was intimidating. But instead of waiting for the “perfect” moment, I just started. Week after week, I focused on showing up and improving bit by bit. Looking back now, the progress is undeniable. My skills have grown, my confidence has increased, and I’ve built something I’m truly proud of. None of that would’ve happened if I had waited for perfection.
Starting my running journey was another leap of faith. I used to think running wasn’t for me—too tiring, too boring, too much effort. But one day, I laced up my shoes and just started. It was tough at first, but over time, it became a source of clarity and joy. Running has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. It’s taught me discipline, patience, and how to push through discomfort—lessons that extend far beyond the track.
Of course, this year hasn’t been without its challenges. There were days when showing up felt impossible and times when progress seemed slow. But every challenge brought a lesson: that growth happens in the discomfort, that discipline often outweighs motivation, and that consistency is the true catalyst for change.
Looking Back with Gratitude
I couldn’t have done it alone. To everyone who’s been part of this journey—thank you. Whether you’ve been following my vlogs, supporting my running journey, or simply reading these newsletters, your presence has meant the world to me. This community has been a constant source of motivation, and I’m endlessly grateful for each and every one of you.
Looking Ahead
As we step into a new year, my focus remains on growth, consistency, and embracing the power of starting. I hope this message inspires you to take that first step toward whatever goal or dream you’ve been holding back on. It doesn’t have to be perfect—it just has to begin.
